Yuukianura aphoruroides, our Asian Orange springtails, are a striking, bright-orange Collembola that add a vibrant pop of color to any bioactive vivarium while serving as specialized mold and fungal control.
Unlike chewing generalist springtails, these Neanurids possess unique piercing mouthparts adapted to consume fungal hyphae, slime molds, and liquidized biofilm, making them highly effective at cleaning micro-mold before it spreads.
They thrive in warm, humid enclosures and reproduce rapidly once established, making them an excellent complementary cleaner for dart frog tanks, isopod bins, and planted terrariums alike.
